Welcome to the new DBCC web site

In order to make this site more interactive, we have moved to a blog format, whereby others may post comments and update the site.

How the DBCC makes decisions

The DBCC will be used as a forum for discussion and communication among the member organizations. The DBCC will not support agendas or political candidates.

We also chose some basic governing rules regarding decision making:

• For any vote to pass, 2/3 of those organizations present need to vote in the affirmative.
• A vote can only be called when there is greater than 50% of the associated organizations present.
• Each participating organization shall receive only one vote.
• The DBCC website at http://fdnanola.org/distB.html will be kept up to date with the active organization.
• These rules will only allow the DBCC to take action when there is broad support.
• It is not the intention or desire of the DBCC to take on any decision making authority that is currently held at the neighborhood level
